Our mission is to provide caring, supportive and quality independent housing for our seniors, which respects their dignity, privacy and choice of mind.
Our residence is in a family neighborhood near all types of food stores, pharmacies, restaurants and banks, all within a few minutes by car. Our residences will experience a Nikkei environment, offering Japanese meals, a Japanese garden, nearby restaurants and access to the East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center (ESGVJC). The ESGVJC provides an enjoyable and accessible Asian experience. There are regular Japanese exhibits, special events including festivals, performances, and craft fairs, as well as cultural and seniors’ programs.
We believe that care should be age and culture appropriate and that activities of daily living should be consistent with normal and routine rhythms of others in the same age group. Furthermore, Nagomi Home will continuously develop new and innovative systems and techniques to prolong each resident’s ability to live a dignified life as they continue to relate to their families and loved ones.

We want our residents to have a feeling of Nagomi (which means relief in Japanese). We provide a homelike environment so each resident can enjoy life, feel valued, respected and live in a safe environment. We believe that both environment and resident care should promote positive image enhancement, which emphasizes the similarities of the needs of residents.
