Our Facility and Service
Physical Support
At Nagomi home, you are welcome to have a physician of your choice to follow your loved one’s care in our facility. Many physicians do not or are unable to follow resident after they enter a long-term care due to distance or insurance reimbursement issues. If you would like, we have physicians who visit our facility frequently who are very experienced and knowledgeable. We would be happy to assist you in transitioning your loved one’s care to one of our in-house physicians, depending on resident’s insurance carrier. This helps to prevent the disruption that may occur if the resident has an offsite appointment. Our director of health can help answer your questions.
Transportation
Nagomi Home LLC will make available to resident for an additional fee, schedule transportation to local medical facilities, for shopping and for another planned social event. Our staff will stay with the resident during the appointment. If due to a potential behavior problem, an additional staff must go along with the resident. Then additional charge will be reflected on your monthly statement.
Snacks and Refreshment
Residents are brought out snacks and refreshments three times a day -10am, 3pm, 7pm. Residents are at risk for weight loss or would benefit from supplemental food and fluids are given snacks with names on them. Other residents can choose from the prepared snacks or something from the refrigerator/freezer, always available like pudding, ice cream, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and juices.
The Service Contents
・ Three meals, snacks / drinks provided (delicious and balanced Japanese food and snacks / regular hydration program)
・ 24-hour care with a care giver
・ Bath. Toilet. Change of clothes. Living support such as washing (toilet program every 2 hours)
・ Activities; Exercise / Kitchen garden / Music appreciation / Games / Various crafts / Shopping / Events (invitation to family and friends)
・ Alarm system in each room corridor / Emergency evacuation door directly from the room
・ Transfer to the hospital
Fees start at $ 4800 / month and vary depending on the level of care and service content.
